Race Information
What is the age limit for the 305 Half Marathon & 5K?
Participants must be at least 14 years old to run the 305 Half Marathon, and 6 years old for the 5K. All minors (under 18 years old) must have a participation waiver signed by a parent/guardian.
Is there a limit on the number of participants in the races?
Yes, there is a race cap for both the 305 Half Marathon and 305K per city regulations. Make sure to sign up early to reserve your spot in the race.

What time does the start?
The 305 Half begins at 6:15 a.m. and the 305K will start at 6:30 a.m.
Where is the start and finish located?
The start is located on Ocean Drive at 12th Street and finishes at Lummus Park at Ocean Drive between 11th and 12th Streets.
Are headphones allowed on the course?
We do allow headphones, but recommend that participants using them take extra cautions for the safety of themselves and the participants surrounding them such as using a low volume and wearing only one earbud.
Can I run with a baby jogger, skateboard, bike or dog?
No, in consideration for the safety of all participants baby joggers, skateboards, bikes and animals are prohibited on the course.
How long is the course open for?
The race course will be open for 3 hours and 30 minutes. Runners are expected to maintain a pace that will allow them to finish the course within that time. After that, runners will be able to finish the race on the sidewalk and will be treated like pedestrians.
Am I allowed to walk?
Yes, participants may walk but they must be able to complete the race by 9:45 a.m. Walkers must start behind the runners at the starting line. There is NO early start.
What time will the roads and lanes be closed for the race?
Road and lane closures will be posted. Visit our Parking & Directions page for the street list with times.
How many aid stations and what type of fluid replacements are offered?
There will be 11 aid stations along the course with plenty of water and sports drinks.
What do I do if I injure myself on the course?
There will be ambulance and bike EMS teams providing medical support along the course. Runners will have access to medical support at each aid station.
Will there be food at the finish line?
Yes, there will be a variety of food options available at the finish line festival. All race participants will have access to the food tent. Spectators will not have access.
Is the course USATF-Certified?
Yes, the 305 Half Marathon course is USATF certified.
