Race Information

What is the age limit for the 305 Half Marathon & 5K?
Participants must be at least 14 years old to run the 305 Half Marathon, and 6 years old for the 5K. All minors (under 18 years old) must have a participation waiver signed by a parent/guardian.

Is there a limit on the number of participants in the races?
Yes, there is a race cap for both the 305 Half Marathon and 305K per city regulations. Make sure to sign up early to reserve your spot in the race.

What time does the start?
The 305 Half begins at 6:15 a.m. and the 305K will start at 6:30 a.m.

Where is the start and finish located?
The start is located on Ocean Drive at 12th Street and finishes at Lummus Park at Ocean Drive between 11th and 12th Streets.

Are headphones allowed on the course?
We do allow headphones, but recommend that participants using them take extra cautions for the safety of themselves and the participants surrounding them such as using a low volume and wearing only one earbud.

Can I run with a baby jogger, skateboard, bike or dog?
No, in consideration for the safety of all participants baby joggers, skateboards, bikes and animals are prohibited on the course.

How long is the course open for?
The race course will be open for 3 hours and 30 minutes. Runners are expected to maintain a pace that will allow them to finish the course within that time. After that, runners will be able to finish the race on the sidewalk and will be treated like pedestrians.

Am I allowed to walk?
Yes, participants may walk but they must be able to complete the race by 9:45 a.m. Walkers must start behind the runners at the starting line. There is NO early start.

What time will the roads and lanes be closed for the race?
Road and lane closures will be posted. Visit our Parking & Directions page for the street list with times.

How many aid stations and what type of fluid replacements are offered?
There will be 11 aid stations along the course with plenty of water and sports drinks.

What do I do if I injure myself on the course?
There will be ambulance and bike EMS teams providing medical support along the course. Runners will have access to medical support at each aid station.

Will there be food at the finish line?
Yes, there will be a variety of food options available at the finish line festival. All race participants will have access to the food tent. Spectators will not have access.

Is the course USATF-Certified?
Yes, the 305 Half Marathon course is USATF certified.

How do I confirm my entry to the 305 Half Marathon & 5K?

After you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Please be sure and check your “junk” or “spam” filter and add the domain @LT.LIFE to your safe sender list. Alternatively you may confirm your entry here.

If I have feedback concerning the race, whom should I contact?

Registration

Do you offer refunds, transfers or deferrals?
No refunds are permitted. However, you may transfer your race entry to another non-registered individual or defer your entry to the following year’s race (fee associated with both options). Please review the transfer and deferral policy here.

Can I register the day of the event?

There will be no onsite registration as the race is sold out for 2026.

Could you please send my email confirmation again?

You may access your registration confirmation receipt through your ChronoTrack profile by following these steps:

  1. Login to your ChronoTrack profile.
  2. Click on the Upcoming tab.
  3. Click View Receipt.

Looking to change your race distance?
Need to change your race distance? Click here to log into your ChronoTrack account. Click “Change Race”, then select “Change to another race” to choose a new distance. If you are choosing a race option that costs more than your original, you will be charged the difference in registration fees. There are no refunds for a lower cost race option. The last day for online changes is Thursday, February 20, 2026 (11:59 PM ET). Changes to a category/division within a distance must be completed by the Athlete Services team via email.

Need to change your bio or contact information?
Please email our Athlete Services providing the old and new information to be updated – information like name spelling, date of birth, gender, email address, emergency contact, etc. These changes MUST be made with our Athlete Services team prior to race day.

How do I defer my race?

Deferrals allow a participant unable to attend this year’s event to defer their registration to the following year ONLY.

The deferral is applied only to the event in question – in this case, the Life Time 305 Half Marathon & 5K. Deferrals can only be applied to the same event the following year and cannot be carried over multiple years.

Entry fees will not be refunded and a new registration including 50% entry fees must be completed for the following year’s race. Your registration does NOT automatically roll over to the following year – you must officially register.

Deferral requests must be made prior to the deadline on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 (11:59 pm ET). Please include the name and email address used to register as well as a reason for the deferral.

How to defer:

  1. Log in to your ChronoTrack profile.
  2. Click on the “Upcoming” tab and navigate to the Miami Marathon race listing.
  3. Click on “Change Race”
  4. Select “Defer my registration”
  5. Click “Continue” and “Proceed to Checkout”
  6. Complete payment

IMPORTANT NOTE – You MUST complete the official registration process for the following year’s event using your unique code in order to complete the deferral. 

Packet Pickup

Where do I pick up my packet?
All participants must pick up their race packets prior to race day. Click here for more details on packet pickup dates and locations.

What do I need to pick up my packet?
In order to pick up your packet you will need to have a photo ID. We strongly encourage you to have the QR code from your registration confirmation email accessible to expedite the process.

Can I have someone else pick up my packet?
If you need to have someone else pick up your race packet, please provide the person who will be picking up your packet with a copy of your photo ID and the QR code from their email confirmation.

Results and Awards

Do all runners receive a reward for participating?
305 Half and 305K finishers will receive a commemorative finisher medal and will be eligible for age group awards. Following the race there will be live entertainment and an awards ceremony. All participants and spectators are invited to attend the post-race party.

Where can I find race results after the race?
Results of the Baptist Health 305 Half Marathon & 5K can be found at the results tent on race day. Results will also be available on our Results page after the race.

Where do I find photos after the race?
Photos will be available on our Results page shortly after the race.
